Collaboration + Media
FOR BOOKING & MEDIA
Guidelines
(1) The no-touch list
PG-13 or explicit content, violence, gore, immorality, abuse, sexuality, innuendos, trauma, human trafficking, mental illness, drinking, drugs, self-harm, etc. EXCEPTION: The death of Jesus and the cross, or events in scripture. See #2 for details.
(2) Topics must be approved beforehand.
This is a precaution for the safety and well-being of myself and my readers. Collaborators MUST send me a copy of the work before publishing/posting it. I am open to discussing anything.
(3) No in-person speaking events.
While this is explained further in the FAQ, I cannot participate in book signings or any speaking event that requires me to commute. This is to protect my identity.
(4) Podcasts/radio interviews are audio-only.
As explained in #1, I cannot reveal my appearance due to my anonymity. Therefore, podcasts and interviews must be audio-only and without video. While some podcasts also post to YouTube, this can be done via audio and a thumbnail, rather than video.
(5) Negative topics end on a positive note.
My motto is simple: “God’s answer to thriving every day.” The answer is found in the Bible! So, if a negative topic is mentioned, you must end with His promises found in scripture - A.K.A. what God says about it. See #8 for more.
(6) Back it up with scripture.
Here on this website, we rely on Scripture, God’s Word. This is primarily a devotional blog. God’s Word is the only absolute truth. So, any collaboration must include the use of Scripture. TPT (The Passion Translation) and MSG (The Message) are not permitted.
(7) If applicable, quotes/lyrics must be approved.
Quoting someone or songs in your work is a wonderful idea! I welcome them! However, they must be approved for the surety of correct doctrine and Christian principles. NOTE: Secular quotes, artists, and songs are not permitted.
(8) If a blog post, finish with a scripture declaration.
I once heard somebody say, “You’ve got to work the Word for the Word to work.” Thus, I end every devotional post with a scripture declaration for readers to take with them. EXAMPLE: “I thank You, Lord, that by Your stripes, I am healed! I choose to believe in Your Word and I receive the victory won at the cross, in Jesus’ name.”
(9) Make room for the Holy Spirit and the anointing.
Take time to pray about your work. Invite the Holy Spirit into what you write or discuss, ushering in His presence. Remember, the anointing breaks the yoke! In His presence, there is healing and power! Glory be!
