MY “WHY,” BIOGRAPHY, & A LITTE MORE
Hey, friend. I’m Merah.
It’s wonderful to meet you, and thank you so much for visiting!
I was born and raised in the Midwest. I am a Christian, author, and my aim is to encourage with every written work.
this is why I write. :)
My favorite thing is anything handwritten. For years, I have seen the value in an encouraging word and messages that remind and touch the heart. I love filling the second half of a greeting card.
I believe there’s never a time when we can’t use a little hope. Just a little bit of goodness can change everything. It could even change someone’s life.
In 2014, God took that passion and did something with it. This became my “why” as an author: to encourage with every written work and remind others that they are known, not forgotten, and loved by their Creator. Because that is WHO YOU ARE.
the other 20%
It’s pretty difficult to find me in a state of not writing. I’d say 80% of my day includes it. But at those times, you can find me:
• Dabbling in graphic design. Canva is my new buddy, but Adobe Spark is a longtime friend.
• Watching sitcoms and movies, with a blanket of course. But being cozy makes me sleepy so once in a while I don’t make it through the entire thing.
• Immersing my soul in music.
• Reading about the Christian walk. My shelf is almost all nonfiction, with poetry and fiction taking up the rest.
• Listening to sermons and podcasts that build my faith.
• Cherishing time with my favorite people.
a little more…
Here are a few more facts that might intrigue you.
• I’m always wearing sterling silver rings. I collect them, so interchanging them is enjoyable.
• Organizing and taking a 5 to 10 minute reset in my home is one of my favorite parts of the day. It’s relaxing and doesn’t feel like a chore.
• The countryside has my heart. I adore rolling hills, small towns, fields, and the country air. It’s a tranquility I can’t find in the city.
• Bees are creatures I tend to view from afar.
• I prefer muted colors.
biography
A.M. REVERE loves using words to enliven her imagination. Her books echo sentimentality, Christlike love, tiny dashes of humor, and full-gospel roots. When not writing, she’s either snuggled up to her favorite sitcoms, reading, or immersed in worship.
